AOA, my father is facing severe cough with mild flu. he is taking Cosome syrup and earlier he had Acefyl but no improvement observed yet. please advise effective remedy or medicine. He is a diabetes patient and have abdomen issues.

Yes he has a soar throat and No fever. He constantly complains pain in below chest and above his abdomen/stomach. Center below of chest and above stomach. He uses insulin to control his diabetes. please let me know if this is sufficient details you may required or need more.
