Talk to General Physician on Shortness Of Breath , Cough With Sputum & Severe Lower Back Pain
Asking For Other, Male 60, Lahore
My Uncle is 60 yr Old & a cigarette smoker since last 15 years , now he is complaining of shortness of breath , cough with sputum & severe Lower back pain. Lab Reports & Chest X-rays are attached to the text. Kindly Review it. I want to understand the possible cause of these symptoms & how we can Identify the disease & treat accordingly.

He is a smoker , smoking is big risk factor for many diseases, cancer, COPD, heart diseases etc
But his chest x ray is Abnormal
need physical examination
First of All need U/S chest to confirm any fluid in chest
if ultrasound negative for fluid then HRCT
if ultrasound positive for fluid will accordingly
Please give more detail if symtoms
any weight loss history , fever etc
need physical exams and some investigation....pleural effusion in cxr
In simple words the X-ray findings show fluid in the lungs. This has to be confirmed by and Ultrasound of chest and patient also needs a CT scan of the chest to rule out other causes eg infection/ malignancy. Kindly book online or a physical appointment with a medical Specialist/ pulmonologist.

chest x-ray is not normal there is an opacity on right lower side of lung due to not a good quality image it's difficult to comment exactly what it is
get ultrasound chest (to look for pleural effusion, quantify and comment on liquefactive component)
any previous chest x-ray available?
send blood tests here if already done
kindly book an appointment for proper evaluation and management or see a pulmonologist
visit to chest specialist
xrays shows fluid in plaural cavity (inside chest) and also shows chest infection could be pneumonia .....
Need Proper Care And Treatment
should hospitalize.
Dont treat accordingly by yourself
