Talk to General Physician on Stopping The Prescribed Medicine

Salam, my mother was admitted to hospital with pneumonia symptoms and she was admitted to icu with a very low oxygen saturtion. Alhamdulilah, now she is well, a hit week, but okay. She was prescribed deltacortel when she was discharged. its been a week now.. she is taking 2 tabs 2 times a day. due to rains, her doctor is not coming to the clinic.. kindly tell me how to stop it. ? can we stop it suddenly??
