Asking For Mother, Female 45, Dist Narowall Punjab Pakistan
My mother age is 45. Her weight is about 70kg and hight is 5.5feet. When I checks her blood glucose level empty stomach(in early morning) it's high i.e 147mg/dl. But her glucose level is around 120mg/dl after meal. Sir i am confused how glucose level is higher before meal. Please guide me did i need to consult a doctor or is it normal?? Is it diabetes??

AOA, It is a type of Pre Diabetes ( provided she is not using Anti diabetic medicine, which will be a different case). which is called Impaired Fasting Glucose... Weight is adequate for height. But she has to increase her physical activity. it will improve and prevent the development of Diabetes.
