Talk to General Physician on Sugar Below 125 After Having Meals
Asking For Mother, Male 55, Iqbal avenue phase 3 canal road Lahore
Aoa. my mother's sugar level is 101 even after a proper meal. is it normal? i have checked several times and everytime it's in this range 100-109 after having meal .. kindly let me know if it's normal or we need to take her to a doctor?

101 blood glucose level after having a meal is NORMAL. It would be great if you could check her fasting level as well

it's normal. if she is diabetic go for HBA1C

check HbA1C if above 5.7 she needs to start Glucophage 500mg once daily as she might be pre diabetic and needs to be prevented to get DM.Fasting below 100 is normal , 100 to 126 is prediabetic or glucose intolerance and above 126 is Diabetic.
