My aunt is facing problem of swollen foot off and on since 10 months.but now it get worsed as when foot swellow small red dots on under skin of foot also appear .it seems like blood vessels have leakage. She is pre diabetics. What should she do.her rft is normal.but ultrasound of kidney show simple cyst .

it can be due to many reasons like heart liver or kidney better to consult general physician for diagnosis and proper treatment

need colour Doppler lower limbs. blood test lipid profile, uric acid.
Is your aunt obese or not. Is this oedema feet remains for whole day or disappears after sleep and no early rise oedema feet, is this oedema pitting or non pitting, how is her lying flat, sitting, standing and activity status. Is she taking normal protein diet and how is her Haemoglobin level?

RFT mean renal function test. She doesn't breath less while walking or rest.

Sorry never heard RFT not a common abbreviation you didn't send pic of her foot she needs a physical examination otherwise do a echocardiography.
