Asking for Mother, Female, 50 years old, Thumb toe
My mother is non diabetic, and for a few days she's been suffering from a problem in her thumb toe, it is swelled due to the skin associated with the nail, i've applied turmeric powder on thumb. And peep is also coming out of it. Is it a serious problem, should I need to worry much? If it is possible then please recommend some precautions and treatment for it. Thanks, I have attached a picture of it, this yellowish color of nail is due to the turmeric powder.
it's infected.She needs antibiotic and might need surgical incision and drainage.
It is a condition called INGRIWING TOE NAIL. She needs to se a surgeon ASAP
