Talk to General Physician on Tightness In Chest

I recently came back from a trip in Karachi. Over there I spent a majority of my time in a room filled with smoke, and I was smoking more than usual as well. (My usual being 4-5 single cigarettes per week.)

On my way back I've been experiencing a tightness in my chest (as if someone tied a knot there) and some difficulty breathing. I even had some soreness in my mouth but some Bongella cured that. Is this something I need to get checked immediately or some time would get me normal?
