my son has tonsils much bigger in size since birth. a doctor suggested operation. my son is 3 years old can I go for operation or plz tell me what's the recommended age for tonsils operation. regards

need to be visited by a specialist physician soon after taking history and doing physical examination and some tests then everything will be cleared up

need physical examination and yes you can remove in this age
some times the tonsils are confused with adenoids in this age group and they are different from tonsils . so need to be very clear about that before proceeding with surgery . need a thorough check up with ENT specialist. do that please and then decide
