Talk to General Physician on Topical Antibiotic Overuse
Asking For Brother, Male 13, Gujranwala
My brother's feet got amputated one and a half month ago. I have been using Cephadine as topical antiobiotic since. He doesn't have any infection or pus on the wound. Should I keep using the antibiotic or stop it? I am afraid that he might build antibiotic-resistance.

No he doesn't have fever. CBC was normal, just the platlets was high (platlets count was 667). RBC was just a little low.

If there is no infection,no pus ,no Slough or debris,no dead tissue,you may simply wash the wound with normal Saline and cover with a sterile gauze dressing.You can upload the wound picture.
Why are his platelets high?Has he some other disease.?Why was the leg amputated?
Good you gave venofer.
Give him Sangobion capsule and Surbex T to promote healing.

Due to road accident. Pathologist said platlets are high due to dressing and it is normal. Also I dont see an option to upload photo.
