Talk to General Physician on Trouble Breathing

My mother has been having a continuous runny nose since the past 2 months, we shrugged it off as seasonal allergy. Now the nose has become stuffy. Her throat is filled with phlegm, causing trouble to breath. Her throat has started to bleed, with fresh blood in every spit. Throat hurts alot. No fever. Constant sneezing. No significant weight loss/gain. Blood sugar levels normal. No body pain. I noticed she was whistling/snoring while sleeping. Its difficult for her to breathe. She has high blood pressure so takes Extor (prescribed) And was taking Rigix-anti allergy (self). Consulted a doctor, her tonsils are enlarged and stuck to each other. Prescribed these medicines.

Symptoms indicate chronic nasal allergy with worsening symptoms and tonsils hypertrophy. As she is having lots of phlegms and blood from nose and throat . She needs an urgent visit to ENT specialist. Thanks

anti allergics are useless for nasal allergy that goes on for weeks.
giving antibiotics like leflox for above symptoms is not only useless but can be very harmful.
Take Rinelon nasal spray, 2 sprays in each nostril every night for 4vweeks
Get CBC & ALT done and if symptoms continue, take online appointment.
