Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Karachi
Hi I am having muscle twitching in the legs since two days. This problem started 3-4 months ago when I started having too much anxiety but it was occasional like on days when I was very anxious it would happen so the nuerologist said it’s happening because of anxiety and gave me magnesium supplement also. I am currently on brintillex also for anxiety since 2.5 weeks. Now since two days it’s happening a lot esp since morning. Can it also be because of dehydration in ramzan? What fruits or supplements can I take for it? It’s making me quite restless. It’s a little better after iftar but there’s some weird restlessness and thakhaan jaisi feeling hurahi hai in the legs.

If it has started just in 2 weeks then no. Also associated to fasting then not in particular but Vit B2 But it is only advisable to take nutritious diet and supportive multivitamins from time to could be simple electrolyte imbalance if your fasting.

Anxiety aggravates in fasting sleep is disturbed because of sehri and iftar. so dont worry but do see your neurophysician/ psychiatrist. Please get your blood sugars tested too.
