Talk to General Physician on Typhoid And Low Hemoglobin

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 35 years old, Bahawalpur/Multan

AsSalamu alaikum, I was recently diagnosed with typhoid. What is the recommended dose and frequency? I was prescribed ceftriaxone 1 g IV once a day for two days. And Ciprofloxacin 500 mg tablets. I also have very low hemoglobin and received two units blood. Please recommend an antibiotic with correct frequency and reasoning for my sudden drop in hemoglobin that it required transfusions.
