it's ok to administer typhoid vaccination by self if you don't any symptoms like fever .
it is recommended 2 years age to elder people.
Typhim VI is very reliable and FDA approved

Hi,
My Mother is 89 years old, she had typhoid medium. Doctor gave 7 days drips with some antibiotic injections but again she got fever, the doctor again administered some medicine through drip, afterwards he prescribed Mofest 400 mg, 1 tablet each day, completed now. She is getting weak day by day. Can Typhoid vaccination be given to here to avoid any future typhoid related issues? or do we need to have pathology tests before administering typhoid vaccine. Which is the best vaccination for this age (89 years).
Regards,
Naeem
