Asking for Mother, Female, 65 years old, Islamabad
My mother is 65 and she has a severe pain in her whole body that has recently become unbearable. 3 to 5 days back she started getting cold chills that she felt inside her skin and bones although her skin was warm to touch. Only with a panadol she would feel better and then would get hot and cold flashes. We got her entire check up done and most of the things came normal. However she has lost approx 10 kgs in 4 to 5 months without trying. Her ESR levels are elevated to 36. HsCRP levels elevated to 29.22 Urine showed some wbcs rbcs and haem. Wbcs have decreased from 8500 to 6300 in less than a month. When she gets her body aches she gets breathless. Please help me. Ive gone to many doctors and no one thinks its a big issue. But i REALLY believe it is because i have lost my sister in 2014 and even back then we couldnt do much for her because none of her reports showed any problem until the cancer had spread in her body.

she should investigated on lined of potential tuberculosis , malignancy or autoimmune problem this need much more detailed work up and examination.i would recommend seeing a clinician who could look at holistic picture.a detailed systemic history should provide thread for further investigations

her condition is serious as loosing 10 kg in 5 months . malignancy , chronic infections , and autoimmune profile should be done . some serious viral infection might be the cause . take her to near by consultant .

The history of weight loss may suggest a malignant tumour.Suggest chest xray, bone scan etc.The best is to have a PET scan.It can detect cancer in the body.
Sorry for late reply as I was out of country. I would suggest to consult any nearby dr with full record so that it can be clinically correlated.
