Talk to General Physician on Uti Infection With Diarrhea
Asking For Self, Female, 72 Years old, Pakistan
I have a UTI and have been prescribed merepenem 1g 3 times daily (3G per day total) it’s to be given for 7 days. I have had diarrhoea for the past few days 6-8 times per day. Should I continue with this medication as was informed it can affect kidneys. Or what action should I take. I’m having approximately 1.5 litres of water per day.
