I have been on depression medication for quite few years and suffering from MDD & suicidal thoughts. I was on Quetiapine 150mg and mirtazapine 15mg with Efexor 225mg and Alprazolam 2mg. Due to high cholesterol my doctor has advised me to shift to Aripiprazole 5mg and stop quetiapine. I am facing sleep issue due to discontinuation of quetiapine. What should I do? Also, I have gained a lot of weight due to mirtazapine. Can I switch to trazodone 50 mg instead of mirtazapine?
