Asking For Self, Male 24, Lahore
I was exposed to COVID on april 10th and now I'm feeling great perfectly fine.
I have two questions.
1. my taste is fine. smell has been restored 50%. How long will it take to get smell fully restored?
2. I was thinking to go for the antibody test so that I might be able to help somebody with my plasma. When do you think is the right time for antibodies test? (on this 1st may, it will be 3 weeks from first day of covid exposure) Plus, are there any additional tests that might be needed for plasma donation?
What is your COVID PCR share with me
yes you can do antibodies test now for checking antibodies
now a days guideline doesn't recommend plasma
If you have COVID or have recently recovered but still have smell and taste loss, Dr. Rosen recommends starting early smell exercises. Alpha lipoic acid, vitamin A supplements, and over-the-counter steroid nasal sprays may be helpful.
