don't go for the laser. as the expertise and exact material is not properly available. and recurrence is more. go for the MRI pelvis with contrast and assess your fistula once and about it's tracks then discus in detail with the surgeon about the management options

First is to identify anatomy with mri pelvis,laser is option for fistula with shorter and straighter tracts ,complex fistula needs multiple sittings and failure rate is also high
