Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Saudia
Hi I just want to ask that i had breast axillary tissues under my armpit. I had my surgery done but the surgeon removed half of the tissue and a small piece is left inside. Now when i am close to my periods my half arm and my armpit area where the small axillary tissue is. It pains alot. What should i do now? Should i tell my surgeon to again do the surgery & remove that small piece also? Or should i leave it like this now? Please suggest
assalam o alaikum, yes kindly contact the primary surgeon for removal
Hi...it all depends how much lump is left behind and how much you feel pain? Please consult the surgeon nearby to get yourself examined and if u r in a lot of trouble then it’s better to get it removed.
Yes better to consult your primary surgeon.
Axillary lipomas are usually benign but still if its bothering u alot u should consult your surgeon.
in my opinion too much fat removal is also not good and may result in de shaping when compare to otherside. you may take pain killers along and thats on n off. anyway if it is bothering you much then kindly consult your primary surgeon.
as You are Having Pain..Must Contact your Primary Surgeon with Your Previous Records.any previous histopathology report? hope so it will be Benign.
Consult surgeon
Leave it as such at present
If you feel pain which is affecting your daily activities then you should get this removed
Well if significant amount of tissue is still there and you feel pain and is unsightly you can get it removed.
Yes it needs surgery again.
