usually pain is in scar site which becomes better in 15 to 20days but people can have concomitant gastric ulcer so u need to get yourself checked by primary surgeon
pain will start decreasing after 3rd day, almost gone by 15th
stitches out around day 10.
pain in stomach after cholecystectomy is usually due to fat intake. avoid fats and u will be fine
if it's lap cholecystectomy then it could be due to the remaining gas in your belly that could be the cause ,it goes away when gas get absorbed, if open , could be due to incision site wound ,
although it could be due to fat intake , avoid fatty food, and then see , if persists should go to your doctor and an ultrasound should be done, plus if there is fever along with pain then see doctor as early as possible .

recovery is usually variable but after lap its usually a week and for open about two weeks...... pain due to wounds is normal in forst week after this should not happen.
