Dear all doctors! 2 weeks ago, Allah blessed me with a boy ... a few days ago he was diagnosed with anginal hernia when he cries appear on the left side only in his belly .. my question What to do ... And because of this he is in pain or not? ... Please suggest me to worry about it because my first child should help me at this stage. Can I still have an operation in this age or wait a few years ..?

Hi, There is no need to worry, if its the belly hernia( umbilical) then you can wait and see for a year. Many a times it dissappears ar its own. however if the lump or hernia in our language gets stuck there and doesn't disappear when baby is quite then get the surgery done ASAP

Inguinal hernia has to be operated. Wait for 3 months and then get him operated. It is not usually painful, but when ever he will cry it will be more prominent.
You ve to send a pic, I'm confused whether it's an umbical or inguinal hernia. If umbilical and easily reducible(going back on pressure), nothing to be done now. If inguinal, and containing intestine, then it needs early surgery. If inguinal and contains only fluid(PPV), then wait till he is 1 year old and reassess
Inguinal hernias are usually not painful and don't require emergency treatment. You can wait till baby is about 6 months old. However if it becomes hard and baby starts vomiting then it requires urgent surgery.
Dear, It is a common occurrence in some babies. this is a reducible hernia. some of these settled with in a year.
you need to show it to a peadriatic Surgeon near you.
Inguunal hernia, reducible and not causing obstruction, could be waited for two years. Take care of cough and constipation...
Wait till he is 2 years old. sometimes in babies they settle on their own

Sir !i concerned with many docters some suggestions me waiting until he becomes 2 or 1 year and some operation as soon possible just like here u suggest to go for operate and others suggest wait its not harmful and painful..its common thing ...

a hernia should be operated at earliest in children, this is the recommended procedure for it, if the child is having good weight then maximum benefit and minimum surgery is required in this age, upto 3 months is best

Probably is a congenital inguinal hernia due to patent processus vaginalis. As most of the doctors suggested you need to show him to pediatric surgeon for assessment and need for surgery. Many a times it can resolve spontaneously but usually there is need for Surgery to avoid serious complications. You need not to worry but must show to pediatric surgeon. looks like an inguinal hernia and in newborns.should be ooerated early because of risk of complications like obstruction of small intestine.
this needs to be repaired by a paediatric
surgeon.
