Diagnosis
Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the lower rectum and anus that can cause itching, discomfort, and the feeling of lumps (mohky) around the anus. The absence of bleeding does not rule out hemorrhoids, as they can be internal or thrombosed creating lumps. Itching is common due to irritation of the skin around the piles.
Treatment
Increase dietary fiber intake to soften stools and reduce straining during bowel movements. Use warm sitz baths to relieve itching and discomfort. Apply topical anti-itch creams and mild analgesics like hydrocortisone or witch hazel pads. Avoid prolonged sitting and heavy lifting. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor for possible procedural treatments like rubber band ligation.
