Talk to Gynecologist on 23 Days Long Bleeding During Periods

My daughter is 12 years old, her periods were started about 8-9 months ago. Initially, her periods duration was fine, 1 - 2 months her bleeding was only 3 - 4 days, from last month and this month her periods lasts for about 23 days. She is overweight and eat chicken and eggs regularly. I have discussed it with my gynecologist she give her ponston tablets and transamin capsule. Please guide, I am so much worried about it.
