Talk to Gynecologist on Doctor Is Saying That I Have Ovarian Cyst

I am 23 years old. Married since two years. No children. I have severe period pain since I got my first period. It is accompanied with vomits (after I eat anything). Pain is like that I cannot function for a day or two. I take ponstan forte for the pain, no other medicine works for me. Recently I got myself an ultrasound from a clinic nearby our house. The doctor there said that I have a 5-6 cm cyst in my left ovary. And it is not fluid filled, it has some kind of calcification in it. She suggested me to surgically remove it. I wanted to confirm this? Is there any possible way that the cyst is not surgical? Can the ultrasound be wrong? What should i do next?
