Talk to Gynecologist on Feeling Feverish In 7 Weeks Of Pregnancy

person-avatar

Asking For Self, Female, 26 Years old, Karachi

Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant. My doctor has advised me to take TVS ultrasound on 8 weeks but I have been feeling a little feverish since last night, though my body temperature is at 94-96. Plus, I don’t feel much nauseous from yesterday. Is it okay to feel this way at 7 weeks? I don’t have stomach ache, or any pain or cramping feeling or bleeding.

It sounds like you’re dealing with a mild fever (about 94.9°F) but no other red‑flag symptoms such as bleeding, cramping or nausea. Rest, stay well‑hydrated, and keep an eye on your temperature. If the fever persists or you develop new symptoms, let your provider know right away. The ultrasound your doctor suggested is a good step to confirm the pregnancy’s progress and rule out any issues. In the meantime, avoid strenuous activity and keep a log of your symptoms to share at your next visit.
