Norfloxacin is classified as a U.S. FDA Pregnancy Category C drug. This means animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus, and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans.

Homeopath in Lahore - Prof. Homeopathic Dr. Syed Atta E Rasool Bokhari

Walaikum us salam.
Noroxin is usually prescribed in UTI.
As I am dealing with drug Toxicity.
Noroxin leave many side effects as my European Patients shared with me.

Sincere advice is,
Take homeopathic treatment because you're pregnant too.

Don't take treatment for Kidney Stone Right Now
Only management and relief from pain and symptoms.
After delivery you can start treatment of Kidney stone through homeopathic medicines.

If you're feeling burning during urination go for Lab test of Urine Name: Urine Culture.
Avoid Antibiotics before this test.

Take care of your pregnancy.
Take Healthy diet that don't cause excess gas like Cauliflower.
Add Good Cholesterol in your diet.

You can ask other questions and about treatment plan of symptoms due to kidney stone by booking an online consultation appointment in 100 Rs

Based on your reports, you have a urinary tract infection (UTI) and a small kidney stone. Your left-sided pain is likely due to "mild fullness" (swelling) of the kidney, which is common in pregnancy but worsened by infection.
Key Actions:
Confirm Antibiotics: Noroxin is sometimes avoided in pregnancy. Contact your OB-GYN immediately to confirm if they approve this specific antibiotic or prefer a different one (like Cefixime or Amoxicillin).
Urine Culture: Ask your doctor if you need a "Urine Culture" test to ensure the antibiotic is targeting the right bacteria.
Pregnancy Status: Your baby is healthy and growing well. Your "low-lying placenta" is very common at 14 weeks and usually moves up on its own.
Hydration: Drink 2.5 to 3 liters of water daily to help flush the infection and the small stone.
See a doctor immediately if you develop a high fever, chills, or vomiting.
