there are many indications for duphaston...it mainly supports the pregnancy when there's progesterone in sufficiency...I usually prescribe when I hv performed ART when I m suspecting pregnancy to occur...not on regular basis to every patient who is nt conceiving...the problem with these hormones is tht of given regularly for long period of time they can produce side effects like abnormal uterine bleeding,increase the size of fibroids,thin the endometrium therefore cause implantation failure etc...so u should take second opinion...take pre pregnancy session along wth your husband if u r trying to get pregnant to make sure ethg is going normal...we humans can try our best...but we gt wt is decided by Allah...
