Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore
I'm 10 weeks pregnant and recently I got my usual tests done and got anti hcv +ve. My gynae repeated my tests with anti hcv by Elisa and LFT. Anti HCV was 1.494 and reactive. And LFT was all in normal range. Attaching reports. My que is that is it dangerous? I've searched through the internet and I'm confused. Its dangerous for my baby because it might be at risk but only if I still have the virus. Anti HCV positive doesn't mean I'm still infected I might have had this virus at some point in the past 1.5 years (after my last c section) because I didn't had the virus at that time. Please guide me if I'm not still affected but being anti hcv positive can affect my future baby?
Aoa need proper viral profile. If not in active phase then it will not effect your baby. Thanks
If Elisa is positive then infection is active , it doesn’t affect baby
