Asking For Self, Female 26, Islamabad
26 weeks pregnant, short cervix length. The doctor gave me progesterone. Before, I was on 100 mg, and now it's increased to 200 mg. After increasing, it's giving me nausea, heartburn, no appetite, and depression. Does switching back to 100 mg affect anything?
better to start taking antacid. don't reduce the dose of progesterone without consulting your gynaecologist
Ask your concerned doctor
let's talk

Better to consult your gynaecologist,
no added benefits of progesterone at this level of pregnancy. if history of preterm labor of abortions with short cervix. do scan. you should already have had cervical stich but I think that's not the case.dont do a cervical study now because it is not useful. your history is not complete so a comprehensive answer not possible at the moment. it seems to be a normal pregnancy going well. don't worry
Assalam o Alaikum
You should take vaginaj progesterone, it doesn\'t cause such symptoms
