i am having recurrent uti, having small kidney stone in right kidney. already taken antibiotics for 10 days when i was 4 month pregnant. currently 5 month pregnant 19+ weeks and uti hit again. it's again 7th day of taking antibiotics. i have no urinary symptoms now accept pain in urethra and feel like it inflammed . before diagnosis of uti i had intercourse which was uncomfortable and i didn't felt good. although i had good desires with the start of second trimester is this due to uti and how to overcome urethral discomfort that comes and goes... My Nt scan, Anomaly scan everything is fine. placenta is not low lying. although history of miscarriages. having stress due to past loss

you many to treat UTI repeatedly in this pregnancy or you may have extended course of antibiotics if it is provin that you have presence of bacteria in the urine sample that will be by culture sensitivity which should have been done before starting with however you may still see urologist because you state that there's small renal stones

UTI in pregnancy should be taken seriously especially if recurrent .Get midstream urine culture done and decide on antibiotics as per the report . Sometimes we have to give continous antibiotics (suppression dose ) to prevent uti , also drink a lot of water
