Talk to Hematologist on Low Platelet, Mildly Deranged ALT

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 28 years old, Mirpur Khas

Assalamu Alaikum, I am 28 years old male, and I weigh around 45kg. I am very specific about my diet and make sure to eat enough protein and fiber. A few months back i got my cbc checked and along with that some other labs such as lipid profile, lft and autoimmune profile etc for my hair fall for which i was also taking finasteride and dutasteride, that I stopped 7 months back. In the labs i found mildly deranged LFT such as ALT being 78 and low platelets count of 105000. I got them checked again yesterday and found my ALT has improved a little at 59 but my platelet count has further declined to 93000. I do have some mild gum bleeding but other than that I am doing okay. I am quite concerned about my plt count, I'd really appreciate your advice. TIA.

Please do mannual platelet count so your actual platelet count be determined . I m advising some other investigations. Do a TSH test, ANA, stool for H.pylori antigen, complementC3/4 levels, hepatitisB, C, HIV screening ,

Derranged LFts could be due to medicines you were taking
