Aoa, i would like to know whether she is diabetic and is she having fever? There may be two conditions most likely. It can be eitger becoz of pyelonephritis (infection of kodney) or becoz of kidney stone. Get her CT-KUB done to confirm the diagnosis. In the meanwhile go for urine culture and sensitivity examination to start appropriate antibiotics...
In order to be sure that this is a kidney pain and not radiculopathy due to spine problem
Complete clinical examination and ultrasound is needed.
Urine culture will guide treatment and if she is diabetic it must be controlled
