Pls schedule a consultation
No, creatine doesn’t lower creatinine. In fact, taking creatine can raise serum creatinine because the body breaks it down into creatinine. Creatinine is a waste marker for kidney function; higher levels usually mean reduced kidney clearance. If your creatinine is high, focus on staying hydrated, limiting high‑protein meals, and avoiding nephrotoxic meds. Talk to a clinician about a kidney‑friendly diet or medications. Creatine is mainly for muscle performance, not kidney health.

Creatine is a substance your body makes from amino acids and also found in meat and fish. In muscles, it stores high‑energy phosphate that fuels short bursts of activity like sprinting or heavy lifting. It helps replenish ATP, the energy currency, so you can keep going a bit longer and recover faster. Some people take it as a supplement to boost power, endurance, and muscle size, especially in strength training. It’s generally safe when taken as directed, but talk to a clinician if you have kidney issues or are on certain medications.

Creatine is a supplement that can help with muscle energy and may reduce fatigue in some cancer patients, but there's no evidence that it cures cancer. It can interact with medications and affect kidney function, so talk to your oncologist before starting it. Use it only as a supportive measure, not as a treatment.
