About My Child's Brain Injury

Question

My child had a deep and terrible head injury at the age of two years, he underwent a major operation, he survived and mashallah, he is now eight years old. The problem is that he is absolutely zero in studies.  Is it due to injury? If so, which doctor should I consult?
