Talk to Neuro Physician on Dementia, Alzheimers
Asking for Father, Male, 73 years old, Islamabad
Aoa Doctor. I would like to ask question about my father, he is having dementia and also problem with his sleep, so doctor recommended him Indral, Depril, Exelon these medicines. After taking these, he is completely disoriented and has gotten worse. Please suggest what should we do and also if you want, we can bring him to you as well. thanks

His medicines should be readjusted but first look for signs of dehydration
Thanks for asking, likey in this age of group , delirium or acute disorientation may be due to systemic cause like any infection (urinary tract infection) electrolye problem or other causes , so better to consult same doctor for evaluation of cause
