Is bemari main medicine ba qaaidgi se lena buhat zaroori hai. Roughly 30 to 35% logon ki bemari khatam ho jati hai after a few years. Lekin 65 to 70% ko ye dawaai lifelong kena parti hai. Secondly fits ki mobile video bhi banaaen. Is se ziada behtar pata chal jata hai, aaya epilepsy hai bhi ke nahi, aur agar hai bhi tou kis variety ki hai. Video ke ilawa chand mazeed tests bhi darkar hotay hain, for a better diagnosis.

Take the medicine with good compliance. Once fits controlled for 2 to 3 years. Then we consider tapering off the drugs..

is beemari ko epilepsy ya mirgi hi kahtay hain. tegral un medicines main sai ek hai jinhen is beemari main diya jata hai. tegral letay huay agar jhatkay nahi aatay to tegral hi sahi dawa hai inke liye. jahan tak yeh sawal hai kai beemari kub tak chalay gi, Kya Inka CT scan ya MRI scan hua hai? 30 saal ki umar main agar yeh bemari shuru ho to aam toar par aisa koi test karwa lena behtar hai, ideally MRI. MRI main agar kuch masla na aye aur jhatkay mukammal qabu main aa jayen to taqreeban 3 saal baad medicine ko aahista aahista kum karna shuru kar saktay hain.

Dear Doctors,
my brother is 22 years of age.
at the age of 6 months he had typhoid fever damaging his mental growth.
He cannot talk (he has his special language for us) but physically he was fine. He can understand everything said in mother tongue.
At the age of 15 he started having attackes of epilepsy. In the start they last for 5-10 sec. But gradually the situation got worse and by the age of 17-18 he was having serious attacks, falling down like a statue, fits lasting upto 5 mins and urination. He as attending a special education school those days, we had to cancel that.
We consulted Dr. Rimzi (From Multan, passed away a few years ago) and he suggested Hitop 25mg, Seizunial and Dipakan 2tb 2 times\day.
We are using these medicines since then, but they are not the permanent solution. They just make him numb, even with age growth they were losing there effect. The problem of urination is almost solved though.
We consulted a Neuro specialist few weeks ago and he suggested to increase the dosage of same medicine 25 to 50 mg, 2 ts to 4 ts 3 times\day.
Is there a permanent cure for epilepsy for him?
Thanks in advance for your worthy time and response.
Kind regards.

Inam
