person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Islamabad

I have pain in my forefinger of right hand whenever I bend it or under condition involving pressure. I can feel a little swelling in the muscle near the bending point. I can't open a cap of bottle or lock etc. I have this problem for the past two years. it was not notice able back then but now it's really bothersome.

If you have associated neck pain; and numbness and pin and needle sensation in the fingers of the right hand the it could be due to cervical radiculopathy; but if thereis no associated neck pain, and the symptoms are limited to hand then it could be due to compressive mononeuropathy like carpal tunnel syndrome.
