Talk to Neuro Physician on Infant Seizures
Asking for Brother, Male, 1 years old, Islamabad
My nephew is 3 months and suffering from what looks like seizures or breath holding spells. All tests including bloodworks, eeg, ECG, brain scan etc have come out normal alhamdulillah. We are desperate to find a cause. Can someone please guide as to what are the possible causes and any neurologist who will be available in eid holidays and where to take in emergency ( God forbid) in holidays.
Cause of symptoms is likely epilepsy.. see neurophysician. All these tests are usually normal in epilepsy. Eid holidays will start after couple of days and you can see nearest neurologist in between.

There are many causes of breath holding spells from being epilepsy to normal variants. If EEG is normal then likely a benign or non dangerous cause be there. Any how u can also show your child to a nearst child specialist as well if neurologist is not available.
