Asking For Self, Female 23, Karachi

It's been almost 1.5 years that I can't seem to get sleep. I stay awake the whole night and just can't fall asleep. I suffer from anxiety also so I'm usually restless the whole time and end up getting migraine due to no sleep. Is their any medicines I can take to atleast sleep for sometime?

Insomnia is a common problem in the elderly because of various reasons but most prominently due to physiological causes in old age. It is uncommon in a young person and obvious cause is as pointed out by yourself a persistent anxiety caused by a persistent ongoing problem which is obvious to you but not known to anybody else. The answer is to come to terms with your anxiety and face certain problems which you have pushed back. In the day you are busy with your life but at night the demons come to haunt you again so there is no question of sleeping as the problems keep running in your head like a never ending film. Headache is caused by loss of sleep and is not migraine. You need to find a sympathetic family member in whom you can confide. Sleeping pills is not the answer as it will make you drowsy the next day and unable to do any work.If you need consultation please make an appointment through Marham! Kind Regards
