Asking For Self, Male, 25 Years old, Gujrat
I have been having pain in my lower back and the back of my legs for the past few years. The pain comes and goes on its own. Sometimes it affects my right leg, sometimes my left leg and sometimes only my lower back. I have two MRI reports one from a year ago and one recent. The recent report mentions muscular spasm. I would like to understand what is causing this pain and what treatment I should consider.
need lower limb examination findings
If a Tarlov cyst is compressing the nerve roots from L 5 to S2 that would produce pain and paraesthesia in the territory of the nerve roots. The cause of your symptoms is the Tarlov cyst and you should consult a spinal surgeon. However it is also possible that symptoms are not caused by the compression as there is ample space in the spinal canal and the findings are coincidental. Must have clinical examination to determine whether there is any sensory loss in any of the nerve roots from L 5 to S1
Consult Neurosurgeon please.
