I'm having continue lower back pain for approx 3 months. I took that as muscle pain and went to gp for pain relief which didn't relief it just made easy to not interrupt my routine works. Pain didn't skip for even a day since than. It is mild and sometime worst. It sometime causes severe pain in my left leg and seems like my nerve r stretching. During this period I've once had severe left arm and leg pain that I was even unable to move it for 2 days. As per Gp, my xray shows minor slipped disc. He had given me 3 different kinda pain killers on different visits. None of them relieved it. In my last visit he told me to go for MRI if I don't get relief by 3rd tablet he prescribed which was unix. Whom should I visit now? Should I go for MRI or any specialist? I want to get it treated ASAP as my wedding is held in a month. Kindly consider it and suggest with best. Thanks
Please consult a Rheumatologist as you are too young to have degenerative disc disease. MRI spine would be helpful but Rheumatologist is a best person to guide you. By the way occassionally stress can cause backache, and as you said you are going to be married, so that element would have some contribution.

pain killers are not the solution. You need to have a diagnosis, and treatment according to that. such pain may be muscular/ disc related/ nerve related. As you are getting married in a month inshaAllah, I will advise you to get yourself checked immediately. The doctor who deals with all these problems ( muscle, disc, nerve) is Neurologist. You may require MRI scan, but let the Neurologist see you and then decide what tests are required
