Talk to Neuro Physician on Muscular Pain(afib)

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 32 years old, Lahore

I am suffering from afib since few years, taking blood thinner and beta blocker to control it. I have got 3-4 strokes. I have weakest immune system now bcz of corona i am unable to visit my EP. I am facing extreme muscular pains now a days. I dont know if its bcz of stress or what. Its unbearable. I cant even clip my hairs my shoulders and necks are not bearing that pain. Swallowing is a nightmare for me. I cant hold mobile for minutes. Muscular pain is at its peak. Its tiring all the day even if i get sleep of 5 hrs or 8 hrs. And second thing, i am feeling an intense beat on left side of head every after few minutes(not heart beat but just a throb. What can be its cause? I am afraid its not sign of some paralysis attack or anything else. Please share if some specialist can get whats wrong in here.

I can understand the agony you feel. First of all you have to share all your medicine. The reason is you may be taking some medicine like cholesterol lowering agents that can cause sever muscle pain sometimes. Second you have not mentioned how your blood pressure is. Anyhow in this condition you have to visit your neurologist to look for possible muscular causes or Myasthenia gravis ( condition in which muscle get fatigued frequently).
Throbbing headache many causes. From raised BP to anxiety and even sometimes with sleep deprivation or even drug induced. Anyhow both your conditions can be managed treated effectively and easily. It is better to visit a neurologist.
