Gone thru successful treatment of Herpes zoster infection. Facing severe anerve pain (PHN) for the last last 10 days. Using Gabapentin 100mg and local anesthetic ointment & antibiotic ointment No considerable relief Situation is very painful

tab mgablin(mirogabalin) 15mg once a day
increase dose of gabapentin to 300mg qDay. Dose needs titration and then to be adjusted at maintenance. We can also switch to other medications if gabapentin remains ineffective after reaching its maximum dose. Nerve blocks can be done for intractable neuropathic pain. Book an appointment for proper dose adjustment and follow up.
