Talk to Neuro Physician on Persistent Reduced Sensation On Left Side Of Body (Head To Foot) With Buttock Twitching

Asking For Self, Male 25, Hyderabad

Hello doctors, I’m a 25-year-old male student, and for over a year I’ve been experiencing reduced touch sensation on the entire left side of my body, from head to foot, without any weakness, balance, or coordination problems. The symptom has remained fairly constant but recently I’ve started feeling intermittent jerking or twitching in my left buttock. There’s no pain, no speech or vision issue, and no known injury or chronic illness. I’d like to know whether this could be due to a nerve compression or sensory pathway problem rather than an old stroke, and whether I should undergo an MRI (brain and spine), nerve-conduction study, and blood tests for vitamin B12, thyroid, and electrolytes.

Given the symptoms, I would recommend you consult a Neurologist online before undergoing expensive (and in most cases unnecessary) testing
