Asking for Mother, Female, 70 years old, North nazimabad, Karachi
Stroke, left hand and leg can't move, face still ok, speech ok, don't understand what and where treatment start, done ct scan but don't know in which hospital I can admit her for treatment.
when did she have this stroke? does she suffer from high BP or Diabetes? have you consulted a neurologist and started treatment? it is very important to not delay seeing a doctor in stroke. admission may or may not be necessary, that can be decided only after seeing your mother.
Go for neurologist opinion immediately bcz time matters for stroke..n need to rule out haemorrhage. 2nd thing control of blood pressure n sugar levels... which may otherwise worsen the cond..

Is there any stroke center/unit for timely quick treatment of emergency stroke patients in KHI, LHR or ISD?
is tPA available in Pakistan & being used by centers? (As it is considered gold standard treatment of ischemic stroke, & used in west)

tPA is also given in NMC (kala pul), Liaqat national hosp and Aga khan hosp.

Actually purpose is to get information regarding stroke centers/treatments available in big cities, get these centers as soon as possible to get timely treatment and avoid permanent disability as much as possible.
Currently stroke patients are treated in medical emergency along other patients having the complaints of vomiting, diarrhea, stomach/head pain, gastro etc ... Although their treatment is also necessary but their illness usually doesn't cause permanent disability if they don't get timely treatment like stroke.
There should be dedicated stroke centers with minimum time e.g 5-minute door to needle as it is done in developed countries.
If a patient get 90/95 % recovery from stroke, its still better than getting disablement of one side of body permanently.
Kindly tell also about stroke centers in Lahore/Islamabad/Pindi/Faisalabad/Quetta/Peshawar too.
