Tremor in young people is mostly caused by anxiety, like exam situation or making a speech in a contest. Any anxiety can cause tremor. The second commonest cause in a young person is an overactive thyroid gland. The one additional thing that I would like to know is how long have you had it? Inderal is a good treatment. The dose that I often give is 10 mg two or three times a day but that can be increased. People who have a tendency to have asthmatic attacks can’t take it because it can cause wheezing.
