Dedicated epilepsy surgery is not available.It is expensive, risky and needs lot of expertise. Moreover, it also needs team work and dedicated people. Above all, invasive EEG and its experts are not available.

Epilepsy surgery depends on the etiology. Patient needs to be assessed physically and the imaging evaluated. If a tumor/mass is causing fits, it can be resected in any major neurosurgical setup. otherwise primary epilepsy needs specialized surgical procedures that are only available in advanced neurosurogical setups in Pakistan. a couple of examples are PINS/LGH, Lahore and Aga Khan Hospital Karachi.
