I underwent an incomplete TURBT 10 days back. 8cm of tumor is still left inside the bladder. Yesterday the biopsy confirmed papillary urothelial carcinoma. The grade is high. The surgeon has flown out of the country. Who should i consult now considering this is cancer stage 2 or more. Medical oncologist? Radio oncologist? Or surgical oncologist?
You should c an medical oncologist who will give u proper gidence and ask for ct chest andomen with contrast and mri pelvis with contrast
Send biopsy report ,according to your statement if tumor is still left 8 cm inside the bladder you should go for surgery that is Radical Cystectomy so contact good oncology surgeon.
You need to consult urologist, medical oncologist simultaneously and May be later on Radiotherapist depending upon stage of disease.

Depending on proper stage, which will be evaluated by an Oncologist, you'll need a combined coordinated plan by Medical Oncologist plus Radiation Oncologist and Uro-Oncologist or urologist.. You'll have to scout for it in your area as per your comfort level.
