there is iron deficiency anemia and possible infection . may be post traumatic sequalae. also possibility of tibial plateau fracture. which needs further confirmation via examination and immobilization in cast.

it takes 4 to 6 weeks to heel depending upon circumstances. surgery is not usually required unless there is ligament injury . which is determined later via mri.
